Tamarind Village Chiang Mai offers a unique stay that immerses guests
in the rich tapestry of Lanna and hill tribe cultures.
Nestled in the heart of the old city, the hotel blends traditional Lanna architecture
with handcrafted details inspired by the artistry of Northern Thailand’s ethnic communities.
From intricately woven textiles to hand-carved wooden accents, every element reflects
the region’s heritage while providing a serene retreat. With cultural experiences,
local craftsmanship, and a deep connection to Chiang Mai’s history,
Tamarind Village is more than just a hotel, it’s a gateway to the authentic spirit of Lanna.
Designed by renowned architect Ong-ard Satrabhandhu, the hotel embodies
the timeless elegance of traditional Lanna architecture, inspired by the historic
Ton Kwen Temple. The intimate courtyard design, a signature of Ong-ard’s work,
creates a sanctuary in the heart of Chiang Mai’s bustling old city,
offering guests a sense of privacy, calm, and cultural authenticity.
The carefully orchestrated entry sequence, enclosed walkways,
and layered spaces evoke a journey of discovery, where historical charm
and contemporary comfort seamlessly intertwine.
